I would never have noticed, believe no.
Yes, as far as I know.
I think so, best to call ahead. Ambience and food are brilliant and are well received.
Very cozy courtyard, competent staff and very delicious Italian cuisine !!
We had reserved our favorite table. When we arrived - on time !!, the place was occupied ... we were told that you couldn't reserve everything, we should see that we choose a different table ... but nothing else was free :-( annoying, furthermore the outside ambience is not really nice, inside it is nicely prepared ...
Excellent dishes only to be recommended. Great outdoor dining area.
Since the restaurant is located in a courtyard, it is nice and quiet. The staff is very attentive and the food delicious. Only for my taste the staff was almost too much around you, therefore no 5 stars. But everyone feels different.
Tasty Italian cuisine and not just pizzas but also pasta. Nice restaurant with a beautiful southern terrace. Inside is an open kitchen and pizza oven.
Very good Italian restaurant with prices above the norm but nothing excessive. High quality of food. Faide among the waiters that the Borgias compared are a model family. Very good pizza that dehydrates worse than the crossing of the Sahara. At night I dreamed of drinking water, I would have woken up 4 or 5 times to drink.
Very good pizzas. The pizza dough is perfect. The tomato sauce could take a little more flavor. Friendly and fast service. The location looks tidy and cozy. The prices are reasonable. Recommended restaurant.
Nice pizza and pasta place. Tastes great. The fitout of the place is not superb. But the service people are nice
Great thin crust pizza with lots of flavor.
Excellent lunch menu. Very, very good value for money.
Good restaurant and friendly staff.
Good pizzas, focaccias and first courses. Clean place, with friendly and Italian-speaking staff. Normal prices.
Our pizzas were okay, but at prices of 10 euro per pizza we would have expected fresh mushrooms instead of canned mushrooms. The service is not remembered by his friendliness. A pity, the courtyard has potential.
Best to reserve super good food otherwise no chance
We really enjoyed the true essence of local food at this restaurant. This cozy restaurant is located at the end of a narrow alley in Villach old town. Super friendly staff did their best to communicate in English. Food was good both for taste and value. Something I didn't like in general for most of restaurants in Europe is SMOKING. It seems all European people either smoke or really enjoy inhaling the smoke of others ...
A little wait before making us sit down as if we were invisible but once seated they did not neglect us. Good pasta and variety of salads. The only thing to report the menu hung outside did not coincide with the one inside. Ultimately a nice Italian restaurant.
Excellent pasta and pizza. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Good beer selection (for the area) and kids menu.
Good pasta and salads.
Good food, fast service. Priced at a fairly high level.
Very nice Italian restaurant, good pizza. Only the tomato sauce could be better and the pizza dough could use more salt.
Very nice and good staff the food at its finest really keep it up
Me and my husband picked here by a chance and I'm so happy of our choice. Everything is perfect here. Personel are very polite and friendly. Prices are reasonable. Place is beautiful. We sat outside. We ordered 2 craft beer and a dish of olive, cheese and tomato for appetizers , it was delicious. And a big dish of 3 different kind of pasta for the main course, it was Devine. I recommend this local restaurant.
Highly recommended. Great food. Very friendly service.Very nice location. We are there
One of our locale favorites. Consistently delicious and nice service.
There you get both: friendly and brisk waiters. I was completely pleasantly surprised. We'll all be back for sure. The tables were cleaned properly and the seating was extremely comfortable. I would have loved to have tasted me from hunger first, but then there would have been no more space for the unique dish.
Excellent pizzas, the only thing that does not fit me, is the proportion of the price of pizzas and exaggerated drinks! (For example a pizza € 12 and a bottle of water from 75 ml to € 5), however, you eat well.
Very good food and very very friendly staff.
Good price, good wine
Very good pizza, the staff chews Italian
Super delicious fish soup, everything fresh, pizza also very tasty, always happy
Very nice people, polite service, tasty food and correct pirces!!!
Very nice restaurant in the center of Villach with an inner courtyard with Renaissance arcades. Good cuisine, friendly staff!
Eat very delicious.
Best Pizza in Villach
Excellent pizza, very friendly service, a climatic place. I would recommend! Excellent pizza, very nice service, atmospheric place. I would recommend!
Very tasty dishes, background music, it is worth getting here.
sehr unfreundliches personal.
The restaurant La Gondola is located in the middle of the old town of Villach. A short walk across the main square and you are in front of the walls of the Italian restaurant. The menu features Italian cuisine. On our visit we first chose the spaghetti La Gondola in tomato-wine-sauce with prawns, calamari and mussels, then the Filetto di Trota salmonata - a salmon trout fillet from the grill, plus two delicious polenta slices. The plates were beautifully prepared by the kitchen crew and they arrived promptly after our order. The spirits differed in the orders. The salmon trout fillet was unfortunately not spicy and tasted a bit bland. The spaghetti La Gondala, however, were very flavorful and left nothing to be desired. Conclusion: La Gondola did not tear us from the stool, but the food was in order. On the whole we enjoyed it.
4 stars because they don't prepare the original Carbonara (with Guanciale) and they add some cream also. However the pasta were tastey.
On the whole, quite appealing. The pizza dough is a bit too little salt and the tomato sauce could be better ..
Since there was no more space we were ignored at first and then turned away very unfriendly when asked.
Since the Trastevere (now called Oxerei) had to, we had to look for an alternative at short notice. At the main square we came to the la GondolaIt is located backwards in a backyard. Decor modern with Italian touch.Since we were here at lunchtime we could choose between different lunch menus. The pizzas were good, the dough thin and on the edge thicker and fluffy (we like the dough like that).Sanitary facilities on the first floor were clean and tidy, service was nice and courteous. Price consistent thanks to lunch table.
Super
Nice, clean, cheap and quick service... one dish is 8,5 €, that includes also a salad or soup... the fish meal is slightly expensier 13,5€... toiletes are very tidy, just upstairsnot for disable visitors... just the food tastes like it is just warmed up... nice ambient and decorations.
The food was excellent, but if you order 7 aperitifs you only get 7 aperol spritz ... what more can you say ...
The food is fresh and delicious. I liked the atmosphere very much, I felt comfortable straight away. The toilet is on the first floor, where there are other tables. Unfortunately, the toilet is not barrier-free, as only one staircase is available. The service is very good and friendly. We didn't have to wait very long for the food. The prices are absolutely fine. I will gladly come again.
The food was great, the price was okay, the staff could use some training in friendliness.
Nice garden. Friendly service. Drinks and food were picked up quickly and served. The Kirchtagssuppe was very creamy, fresh and the meat juicy and without fat (the soup had for my taste a little too much cinnamon - but a matter of taste). The piece Reindling was big and juicy. The salad and seafood were fresh and the pasta is recommended. The pasta was al dente and covered with enough sauce. The carpaccio was covered with a truffle mayonnaise (very truffle) and quality very high quality. Toilet and the rest of the equipment are well maintained. (Too bad that there is no area to wrap and breastfeed).
You don't get tap water there, you are forced to buy water in glass bottles for around 2 euros. Unfortunately, the waiter was very inflexible when we visited: because we wanted olives instead of ham (as a vegetarian) on our pizza, we were charged 1.5 euros extra. Although it was not an additional ingredient, it was just an "instead" ingredient. Unfortunately both mushrooms and olives were canned.Otherwise the pizza was good and the very nice atmosphere made up for a lot.
Good food, bad service
